Meet Love and His Friends

Galatians 5:22-23 (King James Version)

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,

peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,

faith,

23Meekness, temperance: against such there is

no law.

Meet Love and His Friends

Love came unto me and said meet

my friend Peace.

Peace was the type who could always

calm you past your understanding.

Peace always had her perfect work

when rolling with her best friend Joy.

Joy was the type who had a relation-

ship with Jesus and ultimately it gave

her strength.

Joy carried around on her person at

all times Meekness and Longsuffering

was an application on her iPod.

Peace and Joy ate Temperance and

Goodness everyday for these things

sustained the Spirit.

Love came to me with Gentleness and
introduced me to Faith.

Now she was the substance of things

hoped for; the evidence of things not

seen.

Faith held fast to the thinking that if we

spoke things they would come true.

She was always right.

Love was the coolest because without

Love I would’ve never met some of the

greatest friends ever known to man.

I noticed that Faith came only by hearing,

and hearing by the word of God.

with these things holding fast I got to

know and Love, Love even the more.

I found out after all was said and done

that Love is God and God is Love.

I understand that life can make you believe the

report of any and everything that shows itself

to your face. The bible says God is Love. Well

you wanna know what Love’s characteristics are

then go to Galatians 5:22-23 and you will begin

to look for real love. They need to have 9

things before you give them a shot. If they

don’t have all 9 then that’s not LOVE. Love is

real if you believe. Love you.

The Word

The Word

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with

God, and the Word was God.

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and
we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the
Father,) full of grace and truth.

You have to read this poem to a slow song. Imagine a praise
dancer dancing to this.

The Word speaks truth into
any situation.
The Word is evident and boast
it’s volume throughout all of
the nations.
The Word doesn’t become full
of itself it would rather trade
it’s life for yours.
The Word can open seen and
unseen doors.
The Word’s power is not made
up of deceit and lies.
The Word is holy unto all the
earth and mounts itself upon
the skies.
The Word is Love, what more
can I say?
Peace, gentleness, and goodness
is your standard set on high.
In meekness you hold onto the
lowly and make them to be
known upon every mountain
top and valley, with every truth
you have given your children
to write.
The temperance says something
for how you’ve loved us when we
were caught up in our sin.
Your long suffering was the holding
ground for when the sin stayed
for a while and kept us deep with
in.
Your joy is wrapped up in the faith
of a Father who sent his son.
The Word is what died for me so that
VICTORY could truly be won.
The Word is something you must
become intimate with.
The Word is Jesus Christ and I live
to be an open and willing vessel of
one who needs the Word as long as
I am in this.

The Word has some characteristics and they show what
your character should ultimately amount to these 9
characteristics of God whom gave us the Word (Jesus
Christ.)
22.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long
suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23.Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Joy Cometh In The Morning

Joy Cometh In The Morning

Psalms 30:5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his
favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy

cometh in the morning.

Joy stopped by this morning
to pick up the passage from
your way.
Joy stopped by this morning
to make the blue skies from
the gray.
Although you will be missed
and tears will be shed.
Joy stopped by so that the pain
and misery of this life could be
dead.
Now you are resting and although
I weep.
It is an awesome feeling to know
you are finally at peace.
Weeping may endure for a night
but it shall pass away.
Joy cometh in the morning to live
with Jesus forever and a day.

To Mr.Sherman you will be truly missed. Although I didn’t
see you much whenever I saw you I knew I would get a
smile and an encouraging word. I love you and God bless
you to the family. You are in our prayers.

And God Spoke Saying

And God Spoke Saying

And God spoke this morning

to the sun “Arise and say

good morning to my children

for me.”

And God spoke to the night

saying “Go afar off and come

back and sprinkle my children

with rest.

And God spoke to the river

saying “Run along the shores

with the zeal of an Olympic

runner.”

And God spoke to the winds

saying “whisper gently upon

every open heart of faith and

unbelief and allow them to know

that I am God.”

And God spoke to the stars

saying “light the sky with the

friendly giggle in the eye of a

diamond.”

And God spoke to the morning

dew saying “Rest upon the ground

and touch my love with your

unheard praise.”-

And God spoke to the skies

saying “Touch the edge of the

earth with your warmest and

sincerest greeting of thanks to

me.”

And God spoke to the birds

saying “sing the melodies of

hallelujah to grace and mercy.”

And God spoke to the rains

and snow saying “go now and

come back once everything

which is to die or be cleansed

is thoroughly finished in my

wash.”

And God spoke to winter, spring,

summer and fall saying to them

each “Love beyond the faults of

the earth and perfect the earth

with my love through each of you.

And God spoke saying “All of mankind

I charge you to love unconditionally,

seek peace and pursue it, triumph

over hate with the love that covers

a multitude of sins, bring forth my

glory by your hands, and whole body.

This I command you do until we

meet again.

When God speaks it means something.

Are we hearing God?

Although the poem is lovely are we really hearing God? Meaning when you see the sun shining do you thank God? When the rains come and cleanse the earth of all it’s imperfections do you thank him? I thank you Father for loving me enough to thank you simply for the dew in the morning. Amen.

To Behold Your Beauty

To Behold Your Beauty

To witness your beauty on

a daily basis is magnificent.

As the sun paints the sky

a glorious hue of colors.

The rivers flow with such

precision that they meet

and kiss oceans, brooks,

and creeks with the gentleness

of a mother to child.

When I behold your beauty

it’s as the rolling mountains

embrace the garments of the

sky.

When I behold your beauty

It is like the eagle soaring

amongst the songs of the

clouds.

When I behold your beauty

it is like a deer meandering

amongst the influence of the

forest society.

When I behold your beauty

it is like the beckoning love

of a father with his security.

When I behold your beauty

it is beyond the natural beauty

which fades and grows old.

When I behold your beauty

it is the majestic infinity of

your grace and mercy.

When I behold your beauty

I am embraced by the obvious

joy and peace of you God.

Did you thank the Lord this morning for the

obvious and the things which passes your

appreciation? Love on all of God’s beauty and

really appreciate the love of the Lord while you

yet can. Make your petition known unto the Lord

and allow him to whisper his love through the

sun, skies, oceans, and all of his fullness of

the earth. Be blessed.

Beloved I Speak Love To Your Situation

Beloved I Speak Love To Your Situation

I know it was devastating.
The situation says quit.
The circumstances have
become to much to bear.
What am I to do is the
question on your mind?
How can I live like this?
There is nowhere else to
turn.
Lord if you love me you’ll
take this cup from me.
These are the words we
all have spoken a time or
two.
I have been there before
my friends.
Then Jesus would come
to my spirit and say:

My blood covered every-
one of those feelings you
are going through.
I am the way, the truth,
and the life.
I have set you upon a hill
overlooking the valley.
I am the prince of peace.
I am the Lord of Lord.
My power is everlasting
and I control all of the
circumstances.
The devil can’t even begin
to do anything to you with-
out my permission.
The people who used you,
talked about you, lied on
you, the ones who had
nothing but evil against
you cannot even touch
you without my permission.
I AM.
I AM everything and all that
you need.
When your parents no longer
want you I AM.
When your family have disowned
you I AM.
When all hell has broken
loose I AM.
When your relationship is
over I AM.
When the career isn’t where
it should be I AM.
When your ministry seems
to be feeling I AM.
When folks have lost their
natural mind I AM.
I AM.
I AM.
I AM THE GREAT I AM.
I AM THE GREAT I AM.
IT DOESN’T MATTER I AM.
I AM.
I AM.
SO WHEN THEY
SAY WHOM DO YOU
SERVE YOU SAY
“JESUS.”
WITH AUTHORITY YOU
SAY “JESUS.”
I AM.

BELOVED I SPEAK LIFE AND LOVE INTO YOUR SITUATION. THIS ONE IS NOT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER AND NOTHING GETS TO THEM THIS ONE IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE DEVIL NIPPING AT THEIR HEELS, THAT ARE BEING SHOWERED IT FEELS LIKE WITH PROBLEMS, WHO JUST CAN’T SEEM TO FIND THEIR WAY OUT OF THE MUCK AND MIRE AND FIRE. FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEEDING JESUS. JESUS. JESUS, JESUS.JESUS. JESUS. JESUS. I AM MINISTERING TO MYSELF WITH ENCOURAGEMENT.

As The Tears Left

As The Tears Left

It is over finally.
No more regret
for the things
that binded me.
As I wept for the
pain.
I have to pick up
the pieces of my
life and be made
whole again.

As the tears left
from a wounded
heart.
My heart will be
mended by grace
and a mercy only
from God.

As the tears left.
I was broken again.
You restored my
soul and made me
whole in Your REIGN.

Standing on the edge
of my breakthrough.
Getting beyond all the
things that have failed.
Knowing now that I’ve
lived a life with defeat,
I now know I can go be-
yond the veil.

Somebody say:

As the tears left
from a wounded
heart.
My heart will be
mended by grace
and a mercy only
from God.

As the tears left.
I was broken again.
You restored my
soul and made me
whole in Your REIGN.

HE REIGNS FOREVER MORE
HE REIGNS FOREVER MORE
HE REIGNS FOREVER MORE
HE REIGNS FOREVER MORE

As the tears left.

Psalms 141:1 (Be Encouraged My Friend)

Psalms 141:1 (Be Encouraged My Friend)

Very rarely do I make specific poems for people but this goes out to Shamere Reid (death in the family), Bruce Bruce (Mother), Ashanti (Trials and Tribulations), and to some others who are going through

I know you’re going through.
Hold on my friend, God will help
you.
I know in your mind “Can I
pass this test?”
For the trial has caused me
undo stress.

Lord, I cry unto thee: make
haste unto me; give ear unto
my voice, when I cry unto thee.

Lord, I cry unto thee: make
haste unto me; give ear unto
my voice, when I cry unto thee.

There is a voice of love unto
your spirit.
Keep God near and continuously
hear it.
Listen to Jesus speaking to your
storm saying “Peace, be still.”
Jesus saying “Peace, be still.”
Jesus saying “Peace, be still.”
Somebody is going through Lord
and my heart is crying “Peace, be still.”
As I make my heart open to
the change that is sure to come.
Not my will Lord, but Yours be
done.
My trials and tribulations are over.
HALLELUJAH.
HALLELUJAH.
HALLELUJAH.
HALLELUJAH.

As my flesh is working overtime
to overcome my spirit.
I will rest in you Lord and renew my
mind with your WORD and your
voice I will hear it.
I love you Lord.
Be encouraged.

Last night before going to bed last night I was sitting around thinking about all God has done for me despite my trials and tribulations. I was thinking of the individuals up on the top of this poem and I begin to weep for them and my heart cried out Hallelujah. The reason it cried out Hallelujah because I wanted to give God the highest praise for my friends trials and tribulations. I wanted to go and stand in the gap for them. I wanted God to embrace them with his love. So I begin to go into praise for them. As God begin to minister to me I begin to minister to me he gave me this poem. I love you all and keep my friends in your prayers.

Super Hero (The Masked Man/Woman)

Super Hero (The Masked Man/Woman)

Look up in the sky it’s a
bird, it’s a plane.
A super hero with a mask
about his face.
Coming to save the day.
Look out criminals for the
super hero is coming to
put you away.
This super hero doesn’t
wear tights or a cape about
his neck.
This super hero can save
the world so the say and is
given a lot of stress.
Do you see the decline of
his alter ego.
As the fight is not about the
spotlight for our super hero.
You see the mask he wears
and the powers that he wields.
Caught up fighting the despair
the is prevalent in the air.
Taking care of the criminals
without any guns.
Super hero’s have to be super
even when they are their alter
ego, now look what his life has
become.
Words like leadership, and role
model fill the skies.
Hurt,depressed,lonely, and past
guilt’s are hidden under the masked
disguise.
So next time you call someone
a mentor or a hero of sorts.
Remember they have an alter
ego that goes beyond the pulpit,
singing, acting, and yes even sports.

Many of us are super hero’s to some and the villain to others. Many of us SUPER HEROS take the blame, shame, fame and guilt no matter what. Many of us SUPER HEROS get caught up at times in being the SUPER HERO as opposed to being Clark Kent. We thrive the most in crisis and on the stage, but life takes us by storm.  See I know how rough it can be being a role model and then again being Darnell. To the world I am Big Husky and to my closest ones I am Darnell Roebuck. I battle and struggle with being both all of the time. Sometimes one has taken more out of the other. Mostly Big Husky and not Darnell. Now as I am getting older I understand better what life means to me as a role model or leader. It isn’t about amassing anything if you have no one to amass it with or to leave it to. Thank you God for showing me the way through a simple movie (Blank Man). Hopefully you learned something today. Love you.
