Heart Failure
Am I capable of loving again?
Will I be true, or will I revert
back to the pain?
The past seeds are an oasis
of hurts I cannot fathom letting
go of?
Has my heart been broken be-
yond true love?
Will I look to succeed at this
fallen dream?
What is my current expectation
of this particular commitment?
Is it true love or will I forever
be locked and loaded shooting
my gun to this illegal or immoral
prediciment?
So many questions no answers.
One way in, and no way out.
For I am now in fear of true love
and now my mind is clouded
with doubt.
Where is my lasting love?
Help I am experiencing heart
failure.
For I am taking my pain out
on my other limbs, and flesh.
Where do I go to be renewed
for the end result I see is death?
Many of us display actions that take a risk at cutting out our lives. The bible states that “For the wages of sin is death.” Every time you sin you wage war on your body and give it over to certain death. See in the body of Christ we have people who are sinning and instead of being examples and encouraging folks to do right we often accuse them with no real cause. Oh and by the way the bible says that the devil is the ACCUSER of the brethren. I would stop accusing people unless we know for sure. Just because this is what they normally do doesn’t mean they did it this time. By accusing folks you are acting like the devil. See the bible didn’t say accuse. Accusing and not having any concrete evidence is even worse. The bible also says “JUDGE not lest ye be JUDGED.” We all hate to be accused, you know why this is? Because usually when people accuse they don’t have the facts or they are running off of emotion. In the body of Christ it has been a staple and has ruined the whole body not just one member. When my toe hurts my whole body has to compensate and work harder without that toe working at a 100%. So if you are in the body help someone come out of their problems by going to God first. Amen.

Monday, Janurary 19, 2009 G.A.T.F.C will be holding a free concert at Penn State Harrisburg in Middletown Pa. We will be in concert at the Student Center, Capital Union Building 4-6 pm. A Dream Is Etched Across
In a sense we have come to our nation’s capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. At a motel your life was taken,
but before you left you breathed
upon us the unmistakable truth
that God was truly real.
Now in the shadow of our first
president whom is an African-
American we are left with zeal.
Immersed with the trust of God
that we will make insufficient funds
turn into an overwhelming amount
of sufficiency that will last beyond
generations.

Tom whom we needed on the inside
that made people try to accept us
even if they was light skinned.
His dream was in the voting line of
the black folks who were lynched,
or burned because of a check mark.
His dream made rational the fact that
a man by the name of Barack Obama
could be called “Mr. President.”
His dream is etched into the rising hurt
of a society still dripping with closet
racism called equal rights.
His dream is still etched inside the young
lady who is looking for a man with her
thighs instead of with God’s eyes.
His dream is still etched inside of the
young man who is looking for love but
the only voice he hears has nine stretched
onto a piece of steel.
His dream is still etched in the fact that
he marched for desegregation but we
stay going to just black or white churches.
Oh his dream still is etched in a society
that thinks it is ok for pregnant mothers
to be fighting in Chuck-E-Cheese and we
find entertainment of it from YouTube.
His dream is still etched in the fact that
old folks no longer seem to give wisdom
but bent criticism bordering on condemnation.
His dream is still etched in the voice you
give your children when you find it ok
to beat up on people and you think it
is cute.
His dream is still etched into the young
girl who knows how to drop it like its
hot but can’t say her abc’s.
His dream is still etched into the talent
of a many youth and young men and woman
who just need someone to listen.
His dream is still etched in the fact that
one can call himself Big Husky and still
be taken seriously.
His dream is still etched in places like the
schools of your neighborhood, the neighborhood
center, the boys and girls club, or even
the ymca.
The dream lives but will it continue to be
a nightmare or the dream in which Dr. King
said
And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.
Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.
Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.
Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.
But not only that:
Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.
Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.
From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!
In Martin Luther King Jr we were blessed to be graced with the presence of a fearless leader. A prophetic man of God. Most importantly someone who died without the real credit nor love of a thankless job. Much like Jesus before him {He was not Jesus} he stamped approval for men and women to be equal no matter the color. Dr.King was, is, and always be a great man. Will you live the dream or keep making excuses to why the dream will never be seen? In honor of Dr Martin Luther King Jr.

My God, My God, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?
Matthew 27:46
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
In this moment I have come to understand Jesus fully now in the sense that, when we are put upon a cross in life we must know without a shadow of a doubt God will save us. That when we are put upon a cross we must know that God has a plan greater than that cross. In this time of fasting upon the churches in the new year there will be people who are going to charge us guilty. Will we come down from the cross because it is to much to bear? In these scriptures Jesus was innocent. Have you been accused, but most importantly were you totally innocent? Ask yourself this have you heard news lately of someone and accused them without hearing both sides to the case? Have you believed this person whom you have known a while and not heard the whole story? What have you done according to what you heard? Have you heard what God said concerning the matter? That is the most important question. Because in this particular chapter the people said let the blood be on the hands of themselves and their children. What have you gotten your children into because of your mouth? I have had some poor judgments because of listening to other folks. I have turned a blind eye to other folks sins because of my loyalty. I have. I have heard some of the most vilest sins known to man even by some of the very people whom grace these emails. Yet I have had to always decide what is the best action to take? For some I have said nothing at all. For some I have prayed. For some I have said be honest with everyone. For some I just walked away as to keep myself from the whole situation. In this scripture I have selected today I wanted to touch just a little bit on some things. When you are going through your where is Jesus thing? Ask yourself if it is time to come off of the cross just yet? It took a few more scriptures before Jesus yielded up the ghost. I want you to understand that you can say these very words but make sure you are totally innocent first. Make sure you didn’t ask for this. See when you lie on other people it comes back. When you talk about other people it comes back. When you refuse to deal with yourself and your own faults and stop making everyone else the scape goat for your problems it will come back. I have many of people who bring my faults to me daily but I never hear them say I am at fault for a lot of things. Thus making it hard for me to be truly open and honest with them. See I respond better to people who I know have faults then to people who put the blame on everybody else. See you are on a cross but are you totally innocent for your being there? If not God can still get the glory. Even though your flesh is saying “My God, My God, Why hast thou forsaken me?” Allow your spirit to counteract with the Word. No matter what God I “Count It All Joy.” “Greater Is He That Is In Me Than He That Is In The World.” “God Your Will Be Done.” Allow God to get all of the glory from your current storm, trial, or tribulation. Also be careful whom you accuse of wrong because the bible says this “Judge not lest ye be judged.” Do this my friends because unless you are totally clean and guiltless then you have no room to accuse others. The bible does say this “You Reap What You Sow.” I don’t want no one to reap what I have sown. I say that because I have been wrong so much because of my refusal to be humble, lying, cheating, just to name a few. I know that some of my anguish is because of the stuff I named back there. The question for me is what happened to make me reap it this time? When you have done so much to so many you begin to look at everybody and go “I Repent To You.” Today I repent to anyone whom I may have done wrong knowingly and unknowingly. To God I have sinned against thee and thee alone. Amen.

In spite of iniquities and flaws,
The BLOOD is the covering
of the multitude of sins that

NO MATTER WHAT LOVE

Take off your hate,hurt,pain,lies,
insanity,trials,circumstances,iniquities, and of
course your flaws and hand them over to
Christ. For he careth for you. When you
cast your cares and have an answer to your
problems Jesus can come and magnify the
solution for His greater glory. So when
trials, lies, hate, etc happen you don’t do
evil ]for evil. You show the love and true
character of Christ and God will have an
answer. Love you the More.

Today’s poem is short and sweet for a reason.
You don’t need 8 paragraph’s to tell you when you
do stuff the righteous way God will not hold it
back. I think we should all read Psalms 84:11.
Me personally I say you should read the whole
chapter to get it all. Study to show thyself
approved unto God. Love you amen. My birthday

God Is Meeting All Of My Needs (Psalms 34:8-14)
This is the key scripture for today: 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. 11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. 12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
O Taste and See.
The bible says in Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Many people fast to begin the new year. Almost every church tells their members to fast. I fast to strengthen my spirit man and cleanse my physical man. The sacrifice in fasting is I am killing my flesh of what it wants to gain what I need from the Lord. When I fast I probably never ask God anymore for a house, job, or anything else like that. What I do ask is for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to get those things for the betterment of the kingdom of God. See the bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness and these things shall be added unto you. It also states in the bible “I will supply all your need according to his riches in glory. Let me get you to the key word in that scripture for me it has to be need. When I realized Jesus was all I needed the scripture was made clearer for me. When you seek God about his will he will then bring to light your true will which is actually his all along. See I understand fasting a whole lot better now then I did when I first got saved. See when you fast you are laying down your life for something greater than where you are now. Look at Jesus Christ he laid his life down. He allowed the people to kill his flesh so that ultimately his spirit could prevail for victory for all man kind. See none of us has seen Jesus in the flesh but in the spirit a lot of us have. We have watched wonders happen in the spirit. Some of us shouldn’t have the jobs we have. Some of us shouldn’t be survivors of cancer, h.i.v, of sexual molestation amongst other things but because when the work of him laying his natural man down was done he was able to then by his spirit go down into hell and take back what the devil had stolen from us. So when I am fasting yes I know new things are going to come like car, house, jobs, etc but for the kingdom work is what they for. I also know that when I am fasting I am laying down my natural life for someone’s spiritual life. Because many people walking around are dead men/women walking. One step away from death. See we have to understand that in order for God to meet all of the needs of our life we have to put lay down our selfish life for the unselfish life. Like my Aunt Bett is sick and when I am fasting I am fasting that God makes a miracle happen in her body for healing. I am fasting for the renewed belief in the educators, teachers, administrators, staff of the school systems that a miraculous change will happen in our districts. That the homeless man on the corner or in the missions will be able to get up out of their current situations and see God for who he truly he is and stand up in victory. J.O.Y. Do this Jesus. Others. Yourself. The J.O.Y of the Lord is my strength. When you exalt the name of Jesus is when you go from selfish to selfless. When you are looking for him to supply all your needs you must become selfless. God is going to meet all of your needs whether you fast, pray, or bless his name. Because most of us got up and didn’t pray yet you made it to the job you didn’t deserve, got the kids dressed you don’t appreciate, and let you pretend that things are alright with a husband you don’t love because in spirit you are still with your baby’s daddy, in a house you can’t afford but yet you still live in. So now when we exalt the Lord by going to him about other people’s needs God supplies us with all of our needs to help the very people we have been praying about. How so you ask? Have you ever bought groceries and bought some extra and then called someone to come and get the extra. It is because you were given it to be a blessing. Take this scripture and the biblical principle with it: give and it shall be given unto you good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over shall men give unto your bosom. When you fast you are giving up to God what you like the most for what God desire for you and all of those you come into contact with. So if I fast say meat. Then there shall meat in my house. Meaning this in Malachi 3 we always use this for just tithes but it rings true in all things of Christ. Tithes is like fasting when you fast you give up 10% of your time, talent, and treasure to the Lord and he leaves you with the other 90% to do with as you see fit. When you tithe faithfully or fast faithfully, God gives you back more than you could ever ask or hope for. You are then able to be a blessing to more than just your house. The best time to be in Christ is now. For God to meet all of my needs I need to sacrifice something for the greater good of God. God will give it back I dare you to try him. Do this first though study the word for yourself. Because there is more I left out so you can get it for yourself. I just may have missed the mark also so study to show thyself approved unto God. I Believe God For Greater Strength (Nehemiah 8: 9-12)
Hello everyone before we begin our daily poem or devotion whatever you want to call it I want to introduce and promote 2 things. The first is from my homegirl you may know her as Toni in the play “Madea Goes To Jail”, well she is Anndretta Lyle. She is a singer who worships and praises the Lord with all of her heart and soul. In today’s insight it is about the Lord’s strength. We often times forget that all we do Jesus has to be a part of. When we truly understand this the devil will have no place. Maybe today God told the devil have you considered Darnell, so when this happens if I lean not unto my own understanding but lean unto God’s strength he will make a way. I adore and love all of my people on this email list. I adore and love you because I can be harsh and sometimes for some a little to honest. I realize that my strength comes from God to give you these words. Now the bible says study to show thyself approved unto God. So do not just take my word. Fast, pray, study, praise, and worship for a better relationship with God for yourself. You will begin to do things differently when you put your strength into Jesus’ strength and make life better for all of those around. By the way on Monday the 12th is my 33rd birthday. Jesus died in his 33rd year but before he died he changed the world. I hope that if and when I die I can change my world. I want to be better in 2009. So I am seeking God first. How about you?

I See Jesus
I want you all to know I love you. When I write these poems and little bible discussions you are who I have in mind. My friend was telling me she sent some to her friend so they could get better. I have a couple of folks who have gotten on here by word of mouth. I am so honored that God would see fit to allow me this gift and I don’t take it for granted. In 2009 I pray God’s peace and favor rest upon your hearts. I pray that you live in his abundance. I pray that you are accountable when you mess up and humble when you are not. Most importantly love the Lord thy God with all of your heart. Amen

I have learned to see Jesus in every situation. I have learned to begin to really see Jesus when people are working my last nerve. Some people’s motives, words, and actions may be wrong but I still must see the Jesus in them. See when you see Jesus you can truly help someone. You can truly be a worshiper. You can be a true person of praise. When you truly see Jesus you can forgive. You can truly Love. If you love someone tell them about the Jesus in them today. Love you all.

Nothing Works Without This Ingredient
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Love suffereth long, and is kind; Love envieth not; Love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

The greatest gift God ever gave us was LOVE. Come on preacher he saved us that was the greatest gift he ever gave. No it was LOVE. The bible states in John 3:16 For God so LOVED the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Meaning if there was no love in it you wouldn’t be saved. See Jesus came down and dwelled amongst us but his greatest teachings were wrapped in LOVE. Remember when they brought the adulterous lady to him and he wrote in the sand, that took LOVE to dismiss the charges. Remember when Abraham was getting ready to sacrifice his son for him but he put a ram in the bush instead, that took LOVE. See we do most stuff out of tradition and obligation rather than LOVE. We make sure our kids have a good Christmas out of most of the time tradition then actual LOVE. We got to church out of tradition or obligation rather than LOVE. When you LOVE someone or something you will do even when you don’t like them. How many people have you not helped because they did you wrong at one time or another? Is that showing LOVE? The bible says this in 1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? See I was thinking about LOVE like this: Any good parent wants to give his/her child the world at the right time. Why can’t we receive the blessings of God right now like we are supposed to? Because we have no LOVE. We say I LOVE you this is why I am acting like this. Watch this. Husbands and wives when you get married do you fall in LOVE with the whole person or the thought of what marriage is supposed to be like? I can answer this honestly be it marriage or just together as a couple most of us get together because of the idea of LOVE. We have preconceived notions of what LOVE is. Here is what the bible says LOVE is: 1 John 4:8 (King James Version) 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Well to understand that statement we have to know who God is. Well God is explained so perfectly in this passage of scripture here: Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. When you are having a problem with someone you should write those 9 fruit of the spirit down somewhere in your office, home, somewhere where you can get to them quickly because when you exhibit them you show the LOVE of God. When you do these 9 fruits of the spirit you will realize that you won’t be as upset with someone who does you wrong because then God can give you a true answer on how to deal with that person or situation. I had some problems at what I was doing and I realized I wasn’t handling the problem right when I listened to God and put the 9 fruit of the spirit in action at one time God got the full glory. Even when doing spiritual things like fasting, studying, and praying you must use the 9 fruit of the spirit so that you can get the full and complete answer from God. Most people have been put on a fast by their churches at the beginning of the year and I can bet that they are not using the 9 fruit of the spirit. Because if you use the fruit you will demonstrate to those not fasting God’s LOVE. LOVE covers a multitude of sins. How many of you are counting people’s sins? Matter of fact when was the last time you did a self examination to determine where you are wrong at? Check yourself. The best way to change any situation in your life is not by changing or getting someone else to change but by changing the things that are not you. You were made to LOVE so why is that not the answer to your situations? Because we think we have to be mean to that man who is in our life to get him to act right. No you don’t show the LOVE of God to get him to act right. We think we have to be mean to the kids to get them to act right no show them the LOVE of God to get them to act right. The bible says Study to show thyself approved unto God. People can tell if you are studying the word of God by how you react to them in situations which are dire. People say to me all of the time “I read my word and pray every night to God.” Most of the time I want to say where does it say to read your word and pray. The bible does say study and it also states in another scripture to meditate. It says pray without ceasing. So 24 hrs and day 7 days a week you should be praying. My son told my mother he talks to God in his sleep and she asked him how? He said I just do. Praying 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Wow and a child will lead them. My son had an answer for someone who knows there bible thoroughly. Now he wasn’t rude nor was he quoting scripture when he stated this point but it made her think. Who are you showing LOVE to? Is it out of obligation, tradition, or are you showing the real LOVE of God? Amen.
