by June.
A flower in the winter time that
blooms.
A fear no more for the fresh
start.
A brand new me.

life’s despairs.
Heart mended like a car with
new repairs.
No longer torn with the winds
where my thoughts used to go

When the threats and ills of life
occur I say “Peace Be Still.”
As I ponder on the grace and
glory of God mounted on his
ever present hills.

Just a touch of the scent of a
rising spring.
The mere hint of the afterglow

A brand new me was inspired by the despair, hopelesness and utter disgust I saw on the people of God’s face. The trials that have become so hard that death would seem to be a warm sunny day. I wanted to embrace the scripture that says to count it all joy. As I go to different churches, functions, and even my regular work day and see the saints of God myself included at times I felt a declaration was needed for the people to be encouraged and loved on.
