And The Night Sets In

As we entered into the eve of the

day.

The answer was seen from so far

away.

Yet as we got closer the night set

in.

The destination was clear but we

saw no win.

The victory was immanent but saw

it no where in sight.

We were joyous by day, but fretful

of the night.

The storms begin to hit making the

way slippery.

The clouds cast shadows that we

normally could see.

Then we heard a horn a trumpet if

you must.

We kept hearing it as the dawn begin

to rise from the dusk.

For we traveled on all speaking ceased.

We begin to settle in for the dawn

not understanding this amazing peace.

There was joy in our sights as the

night tried to grow long.

For what we were hearing was the

beat of the TRUE drummer’s drum.

We had many try to guide us through

to our destination and yet they failed.

We experienced a lot, and even managed

to make it through hell.

For the sound we thought was a trumpet

was actually full of many pieces.

It was the sound that can only be heard

from JESUS.

So even the dark of the night has scared

and upset.

Don’t worry, wonder no don’t you dare

fret.

Make known your petiton to God’s ear.

For only God can bring through a night

unscaved and crystal clear.

    The bible says “My sheep will know my voice.”  The scripture says it better but when we go into the nights of our lives where all hell is breaking loose, and folks have lost their last mind still you need to stand strong and hear God’s voice. You have got to become one with his voice. How do I do this preacher? Study, prayer, fasting, meditating but most importantly LOVING. GOD is LOVE, so when you add the ING you make God in your life a verb instead of just a noun.  I must go now be blessed.

Silence Is Golden

 So that anger doesn’t fill my mouth. Silence is Golden. My words travel until they rest somewhere from the east, west, north, and south. Silence is Golden. I want to answer the lies, truths, accusations. Silence is Golden. When you are in danger that you can’t see and you need to hear THE solution. Silence Is Golden. So for me I will have to endure and remember that. Silence Is Golden. For everything you may have may be fact. Silence Is Golden.

As I sit and enter this portion of truth I must learn that in order for God’s word to manifest I must shut up. When you breath on a fire it gives that fire more power and life. So remember sometimes Silence Is Golden.

Never Fails

Never Fails

Just when the ship

was sinking.

And all hope was lost.

The friends couldn’t

advice me out of this

one, so I went beyond

my conventional thinking.

Found myself down, for

the ship was being smashed

and tossed.

It was real, real I tell

ya.

Fought off the hurt,

anger and failure.

So as I was drowning

looking to my left and

my right.

I looked behind me and

the enemy had closed

in.

The dark had encompassed

me and I saw no more

day light.

Then out of nowhere

I saw the lighthouse

and knew if I just kept

the FAITH then I would

win.

Jesus stepped right in

and said “I’ll Never Fail.”

See he had taken this

journey 2000 plus years

ago.

He went into hell and shook

it up getting the keys

and the victory, and said

you can’t win no mo’.

Hallelujah Never Ever Ever

Ever Fails.

Glory.

He Never Fails.

I love you Lord because

for all of the problems but

I know God Never Fails.

Yes, the times have been

hard lately but God Never

Fails.

I Love You Lord because

you NEVER FAIL.

   In the midst of the rain today God said “Darnell I Never Fail.” Thank you. I admit that right now I am encouraging myself. I know you will do it Jesus. I love you Lord.

Tribute To You

Encouraged by the fact

that there is no more pain.

A smile can no longer be

twisted for someones ill

gotten gains.

You can be free from every

single thing.

Misery and heartache no

longer can one bring.

Set upon a hill you can

finally see true beauty.

For I know not where you

will go but I hope it will be

heavenly duty.

Do we miss you as much

one can expect.

For now was your time to

cash in your earthly check.

You can see peace in it’s

rarest form.

My heart goes to the love

ones you left here to mourn.

Trials and tribulations were

traded for God’s bliss.

I send this filled with love

and with a kiss.

The Day I Found Forever

This particular day my heart was

weak.

Looking for Gold but finding bronze

at it’s peak.

Searching for answers in the midst

of being in despair.

Then I found forever with a heart

that went beyond care.

She whispered sweetly saying I am

so in love with you.

While maintaining peace, as temperance

worked it’s love through.

The joy I found I wanted to share

her with the world.

On this day I said would you love

me forever baby girl?

She said “YES”, as love came and

took it’s rightful place.

She showered me with her love

and I became fit with favor and

the Lord’s grace.

I looked high and low for some type

of love that would not plunder.

Then I found Tia, and what God

has put together let no man put

asunder.

I wanted to know life a little better.

Thank you Lord for The Day I Found

Forever.

  Today is my anniversary and I love Tia whom has given me a peace that is overwhelming. God made Tia from my rib and showed himself through us as we walk our love in him together. August 20, 2003 we got married.

   Hello all. In this I wrote about the answer to all of your problems. You can run to Oprah,Obama, Ciroc {the drink}, cigerrettes,sex, and anything else you may think you need but in the end you ultimately need God . In God you will find every single answer to every questionable thing that is going on in your life. If you stick to the usual then you will probably be back here again. I tell you try the WORD of GOD and see if that works. I love.

Psalms 150

Psalm 150 (King James Version)

  I love this particular scripture because it is so real. You have to praise God. There is no if, ands or buts about it. The funny thing about praising the Lord is this scripture text doesn’t say who can and cannot praise him.  Let us start with the sanctuary. Here is what the word means.

SANCTUARY

SANC’TUARY, n. L. sanctuarium, from sanctus, sacred.

1. A sacred place; particularly among the Israelites, the most retired part of the temple at Jerusalem, called the Holy of Holies, in which was kept the ark of the covenant, and into which no person was permitted to enter except the high priest, and that only once a year to intercede for the people. The same name was given to the most sacred part of the tabernacle. Lev. 4.

Heb. 9.

2. The temple at Jerusalem. 2Chron. 20.

3. A house consecrated to the worship of God; a place where divine service is performed. Ps. 73.

Hence sanctuary is used for a church.

4. In catholic churches, that part of a church where the altar is placed, encompassed with a balustrade.

5. A place of protection; a sacred asylum. Hence a sanctuary-man is one that resorts to a sanctuary for protection.

6. Shelter; protection.

Now you have to check this out the sanctuary isn’t just Turner Memorial it is also yourself. We to often devalue ourselves as sanctuaries because a lot of us don’t allow God to live there. P Diddy, Reality TV, what sign you are, mess, lies, lust of the flesh, and many other things live there.  One of my worst ones is gluttony.  God should be able to dwell in the sanctuary. When a high priest entered in see they placed a rope with bells on it so that if they were unclean that they would die immediately and they would pull the body out. See when you realize that the death, burial, ressurection, and asscension meant more than just him dying for your sins it meant that you became the place where Jesus himself could dwell in. Think about this why is it people can see no matter if they are saved or not if you have Christ? Because when he truly dwells in your secret sanctuary things begin to happen out in the open. When he dwells there you won’t allow anger, foolishness, cuss words, lust, revenge, whoremongering, gossip, and anything else dwell in the temple in which you are keeping holy not for you but for the God you serve. Much is the way with going to church I understand now you have to come into the church with the same thought that this place is the holy of holies.

FIRMAMENT

FIRMAMENT, n. ferm’ament. L. firmamentum, from firmus, firmo.

The region of the air; the sky or heavens. In scripture, the word denotes an expanse, a wide extent; for such is the signification of the Hebrew word, coinciding with regio, region, and reach. The original therefore does not convey the sense of solidity, but of stretching, extension; the great arch or expanse over our heads, in which are placed the atmosphere and the clouds, and in which the stars appear to be placed, and are really seen.
God expects everything in heaven and in earth to praise him. You say his firmament is hard to reach well no it is not. If you live on earth you MUST praise him. It is not an option. That is why when they told the diciples to be quiet, Jesus said then the rocks will cry out immediately. When you go to church and decide you are going to praise and then you see someone you consider a stone praising God and then ultimately getting blessings you can’t be mad because obedience is better than sacrifice.

See the state workers were quite upset when they no longer got a check. They were ready to get ignorant. How you think Jesus feels after all of the work he has done to save your soul and you won’t pay him with praise. You give his praise to someone else. All Jesus was asking was that you praise God for what he has done, is doing, and will be done. See we want to praise God when it is pretty outside. The rain comes to replenish, restore, renew, and clean out some stuff. See God allowed the state workers to go without a check this month so that the devil could see that no matter what my people will praise me. See I understand now that my circumstance with the situations I was in was about me praising God but doing a self check. When I begin to do a SELF check I found some things I didn’t appreciate about Darnell. The walls had closed in but my praise will open them up. I won’t keep you long. God’s excellent greatness is you. Watch this only God could put all of these people together on this planet and not have them look a like but still look a like. How many of you know that everyone when you bleed it comes out red, when you die we all lose all color, We all must die. So praise him for you being a part of his excellent greatness. It doesn’t matter what you praise God with it matters that you praise him. David said this I will bless the Lord at all times and his praises shall continually be in my mouth. You can’t continue to say that scripture and keep doing things the same way. Because praising the Lord at all times is when you resolve the problems at home, when you decide to let forgiveness be real, when you decide that I am going to help instead of hinder. The last line is my favorite. G.A.T.F.C sings a song called “Let Everything That Hath Breath Praise Ye The Lord.” The song is built off of this scripture. If you have breath you should be praising him. It was praise that brought the walls of Jericho down. It was praise that made Jehosaphat victorious. It was praise that made you see another day because someone was praising God for you. It was praise. If you want real results then somebody give God some praise. Hallelujah is the highest praise you can give God. So just begin during your day at least one once an hour saying to God “Hallelujah.” The bible also says write the vision down and make it plain. So plainly speaking if you say with all of your heart once an hour hallelujah then watch what God does. Love you to life.

Dear People Of God

Dear People Of God,

I was sitting the other day crying unto the Lord, and I felt like he wasn’t answering me quick enough. God simply said “open your eyes.” As I opened my eyes I saw nothing. I said God I know there is nothing here but you said open your eyes. God said again “Open Your Eyes.” So I proceeded to open them and saw nothing. One more time I went to the Lord and said come on now I can’t see nothing, God said “OPEN YOUR EYES.” This on my 3rd time of opening my eyes I realized what God was saying. See I was standing in front of the mirror and I opened my eyes to see. I realized I was the answer and the hindrance to my problem. God told me to open my eyes and basically the answer was me but I could also be the hindrance. As the answer if I would have been using my WORD which is God {John 1:1} my problem would be solved. If I would move out of my way long enough to allow God to answer the problems then God would be able to show me what is right in front of my face in the 1st place. So we were in a meeting Tia, and I on last night and God answered me yet again about me, not Tia or anyone else in the meeting He said “OPEN YOUR EYES.” I love you family of people but:

1. Open your eyes to realize the answer is in you.
2. The problem could very well be you.
3. You need to Open your eyes and see beyond your now because someone else is
going to need the answered you not the questioning you.

No Matter {W.W.J.D.}

No matter how much it hurts,

I’ll remember Jesus hurt much

more.

When they talk about me I will

hold my peace and let the Lord

fight my battles.

If a storm arises I will simply say

“Peace Be Still.”

In my duress I won’t be to hard

to remember even “Jesus Wept.”

In being betrayed I will say “forgive

them Father for they know not

what they do.”

I won’t be the victim rather yet

I will stand proudly and be the

example.

When anger arises I will be swift to hear,

slow to speak, slow to wrath.

As the days get longer and my

mind and body want to quit I

will remember to be ye stedfast,

unmoveable, always abounding in

the work of the Lord, forasmuch

as ye know that my labour is not

 in vain in the Lord.

I will remember when speaking that

Death and life are in the power of

the tongue: and they that love it shall

eat the fruit thereof.

In my daily beginnings I will remem-

ber to pray in such a manner as not

to be vain:Our Father which art in

heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done

in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we

forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil: For thine

is the kingdom, and the power, and

the glory, for ever. Amen

  Jesus did many great things while he was on earth. The greatest thing He did to me in my opinion was be a forgiver even though he knew some folks would never truly accept that true forgiveness. Honestly God will forgive and forget because he is awesome. On this day if I have wronged anyone at anytime I am asking for your forgiveness and I am also forgiving those whom wronged me. I want the true Love Of God to show through me. In my storm this weekend I thought some things were gone but they were just lying dormant. I am determined for them to be gone so God will not have to judge me later I am going to work on it now. I am encouraging you that if your storm is here tell it “Peace Be Still.” Some of us are waiting on Jesus and he is waiting on you to speak word into your circumstance because not speaking word will cause confusion, hurt, bitterness, deceit, lies, and many things associated to these words. So speak word to the circumstance if you are tired speak rest, if you are filling with hate over something or someone speak love, if you are dealing with employment issues speak to God on where to go, if you are dealing with family speak an answer, if you are dealing with relationship issues of who you are with or even if you are in a relationship that is headed nowhere or you are not supposed to be in then speak temperance, wisdom, speak truth and if you speak these things because using temperance means you are controlling your situation and not allowing the situation to control you, but if you speak wisdom it doesn’t have a respect of persons because speaking wisdom is speaking Jesus, speak truth if you don’t love her/him leave. If you know you are not suppose to be unequally yoked and you are speak truth and leave because you don’t want to curse your household. I am learning folks that this life is all about speaking. If I speak it God will allow it to happen. Be blessed. Amen.
