I Stand Naked Before Thee
I open my heart to you fully.
At times I am scared.
I know I have victory but some-
times in defeat I refuse to
acknowledge you’re there.
I am missing the love of my loved
ones whom seem to have left
me down.
I shutter in anticipation for rest
but when it comes I’m no where
to be found.

Searching the meaning of life.

Wondering when will rest be before
me in my hellos and goodbyes.
Hoping I can see you being suspect
to myself as I constantly review the
stony and cold places.
Sometimes asking have you hardened
my heart to suggestions of love.
Will my life be spent as a hypocrite
Violently losing an assured race?
Am I onto the cusp of greatness
Oh Lord I am failing to succeed
to another level of worship and
brass is my words of praise.

Live life to the fullest and all that

one’s struggles, pain, and strife.

So you can hear the words ‘well done
thy good and faithful servant’ from God’s
son.

At times when people are losing their lives to battles with leukemia,sickle cell, A.I.D.S, heartbreak, stress, in love with someone who doesn’t love you. Live your life to the fullest at all times because tomorrow is not promised.

9-11
I remember it vividly. As we watched the skies and the flown birds hit the tower unseemingly. We watched in horror as some jumped to their doom. Fear gripped the land we were consumed. Hurt by a cause in the name of Allah. We who know better, knew that we must call on the almighty God. By calling on God and being steadfast. We made sure the homefront was secure at last. We were torn apart as bodies were taken out. Ground zero is what they called it. The Twin Towers no more as it was finished. My sister lived near there and was on her way to work so we thought. Imagine not knowing as we sat in awe. As we sat there shocked that someone would bomb us that day. A nation mourned and cried, but they also prayed. The kingdom of heaven was surley at hand. Check your life as you look in the mirror young woman young man. We knew life would change but not crumble totally. That day on 911 was surely a blessing in disguise because it let all know God is truly the king.
