I remember the first time I tried I messed
up bad I ain’t going to hide, took laxative
pills.
Man all I did was boo boo all day that’s for
real.
Then I had this really really bad dream.
Woke up and found out I was living the
nightmare without no screams.
Messed up I had the gun to my face, blast
off was almost official ’til something else
took place.
The devil was in my ear, I was high off of
the weed smoke but then the devil made
haste.
He was saying stuff like you ain’t spit.
You going to ruin everyone’s life anyway
just get over it.
He even claimed you got a die real G’s don’t
live.
Don’t be a coward come on I got better for
you and your kids.
My destiny was at stake and my purpose
to, this is why I bring the truth so real to
all of you.
I had made to many mess ups, it was time
to go.
I felt God was leaving me hanging nice and
slow.
I couldn’t hear him with the banging in my
head.
I for sure wanted death because I was better
off dead.
Then a voice said to me quite nice, small,
and still.
You are the apple of my eye, and yes son
I am truly real.
I was like no way you gotta be kidding me.
He said this is about more than you but your
family’s whole destiny.
I said to myself Tia, and the kids will be
better without me.
4 years later I was redeemed no longer doubting
the real G.
He said I gave you that smile for such times
as this.
I said but Lord she don’t love me, the world
hates me, and my moms is pissed.
Then he sent some friends who were there
to help pick me up.
Mr.E, Thaddeus and Karen, Tia, Deshawn,
Teyanna, and of course Ma’Leah helped to
fill my cup.
See when Ma’Leah was born I was going to
say “F the World.”
I was preaching,doing comedy, and playing
the well known church world.
At this time I was looking for a way out.
I was done and then February 14, 2005
came without a shadow of a doubt.
See I got the call she was about to be born
just as I was getting to blow my last horn.
See no one knew this I had fallen in the deep-
est depression I had ever faced.
Now God had rescued me by giving me my
saving grace.
Karen prayed for me, Mr. E was by my side.
Thaddeus was helping Karen pray, and Tia
and my other kids wanted me by their side.
Ma’Leah Danielle Roebuck and God was the
reason some of you even have heard of a
Big Husky.
She was born and suicide has no longer been
apart of your boy, that would be me.
 
 
Somebody Pray right now. Someone is getting ready to end it all. Watch what God will do.
  See I was driving today and God showed me that someone is getting ready to commit suicide. I am begging you whoever you are to not end it all. You are more than a conqueror. You are awesome.  God said that he would never leave you nor forsake you. God by the power vested in me from you give that person the peace that passeth all understanding for this particular situation right now.  Love on them. They need you right now. Devil get your hands off of them. I love you Jesus. In Jesus name we pray amen. He said tell your testimony.  I am being honest with you it is a hurting feeling when you are feeling all alone.  My daughter being born helped me to really see what God was saying.  I was living with my friend R.P at the time and even he didn’t realize I was getting ready to blast myself at his crib.  I had fallen.  See I was looking at my life as over and empty.  God showed me that when he died on the cross 2009 years ago he died just for those times.  He made me see that my cup runneth over.  I understand what you are going through today but if God can take me from the point of no return to the point of life being good then I am going to sing his praises.  People say Darnell why do you show love to people who don’t do gospel because I have been there.  Some people are looking to do better they just need someone to say I love you and I am praying for you.  When Jesus fixes you I am still going to love you and be praying for you. This is to those who are sitting on death’s door.  Know that he saved me and he can save you.  So if you wanna be saved call me at 717-557-4799.  By the way I was doing comedy, preaching and everything.  I love you Lord. I thank you Mr.E, Thaddeus and Karen, Tia and my kids. Hallelujah. BLIND

Blind

 I am walking into this blind but I am in peace. My spirit is my guide so I have so much relief. I have this covered completely even though people say I am a fool. For what I am about to embark on is known as totally uncool. What is your plan that is what people say. This is unusual and done in such a simple way. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. I am lost to you from what your eyes can see. I am not stuck on conventional wisdom or its desired effect. This is unusual so why do you have no frets? See what the eye can see most times gives God a little praise. What you cannot see coming to fruition can last until you see Jesus once again. If Jesus can’t take care of me then what am I serving him for? I have blinded my eyes to the problems in front of me so that Jesus has an open door. I wanted to solve the problems but my usual wisdom isn’t seeing seeing me through. So I have been trusting in the Lord while Jesus tells me what it is I need to do. See I was trying to help Jesus out with his plan. Jesus remember man can’t live off of bread alone but by my words that have your heart, mind, and soul to land. I am here for the purpose not the circumstance. So listen to the Lord for your new direction as Jesus tells you how to stand.

Being blind in this sense means to close your eyes to distractions, troubles, circumstances. I was forced to trust God you don’t have to be that way. Do it willingly. My world was rocked because I didn’t hear Jesus when he warned me. You hear the instruction of the Lord for he can bring you out of the financial crunch, family hindrance, ministry failure, friend hurts, and over situations of your day. Stop trying to help God help you. HE didn’t need you to make you, so He doesn’t need you to help you out. Love you be blessed.

When I Praise
 
 
 
When I praise unto the King.
my love has overflowed.
When I praise unto Jesus.
Doors open that once were
closed.
When I praise unto His glory.
I am in total victory.
When I praise unto the Lord.
I am in truth and touching
worship without looking be-
hind me.
When I praise unto Jehovah.
I look forward to being blessing.
When I praise unto El Shaddai.
I can see the people who I
come into contact with begin
to be comforted by His peace.
When I praise unto the Almighty.
Deliverance is my dance.
When unto the Great I Am.
My life is more abundant and
I am more willing to forgive
and give another chance.
When I praise unto God,
Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
I am vested in His sweet com-
munion.
When I praise unto Jesus.
I am found to be the salt and
flavor unto those whom are
hopeless, lost, and feeling so
very useless.
When I praise unto God I am
realizing Praise is who I am.
 
 
 
 
   Are you praise?  Are you worship?  Are you victorious?  Are you ready? Are you hope?  Are you these things?  If you are just give God a praise break right there.  I asked these questions because once you realize that praise has nothing to do with you stepping into a church per say but everything to do with how you live, speak, and are my God somebody watch out!!!! Somebody watch out!!!! Somebody watch out!!!!  When people see you do they get excited because they know you are sure ‘nough about your FATHER’S business?  Somebody give God an AWESOME shout of PRAISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See  I am excited.  Because as I said unto you earlier in one of my poems “God asked me Do YOU TRUST ME?” I said yes and all hell broke loose and I got shook at the beginning of October.  Well I was watching Austin Powers and Dr.Evil had stolen his “MOJO.”  So he thought.  He can’t take what God has made in him.  See I Got My MOJO.  Meaning this I’ve Got THE VICTORY. Somebody down in Willingboro New Jersey made me see that Greater Is He That Is In Me Than He that Is In The World SO BABY Tell the Devil to GET THEE BEHIND ME.  I AM PRAISE.  SOMEBODY SAY YES.  Your yes has just started something.  HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH.  HALLELUJAH.  Somebody say YES.  The Young kids in WILLINGSBORO NEW JERSEY where I went to minister to this weekend ministered to me by giving their life back to CHRIST somebody say “GLORY.”  I can’t contain myself I am so excited I cannot hide.  Like the Pointer Sisters said back in the day “I’m about to loose control and I think I like It.”  Jesus.  There is going to be someone to come your way today that will need Jesus will you give it with your praise?  Be blessed.

I’m In All The Way
 
 
 
 
I’m in and there is no getting out.
I am committed without a shadow
of a doubt.
I don’t have to second guess nor
do I have to front.
I am all about Jesus and that is all
I want.
Other things in my life may come
and go.
I’m in all the way baby this is not a
show.
It doesn’t matter what is said.
I’m gonna praise him,  yes I’m gonna
praise.
I should have been dead holding my
grave clothes tight.
Lord you saw fit to see me through
all of my fights.
HALLELUJAH I sing from the valleys
to the hills.
What more can I say,  I am all of the
way in.
I’m all the way in and I will tell the
devil go to hell.
I am all the way in and I thank you
Lord for making Darnell.
 
 
 
 
 
  I should have died this week but God saw fit to allow me life.  I should have been hurt but prayer made my back alright.  I praise God for allowing me new life and a renewal beyond compare.  I thank you Jesus that I didn’t die if sin was there.  I love you all and cherish the ones around you.  Be easy and be love.

On my ballot will be a different vote.
I will be voting for a country to
have the right to have God in their
midst.
Be it at school, work, or home I
will vote God in.
I am voting for leadership to lead
us in the way of righteousness.
I will be voting for teachers, principals,
employers, pastors, artist [any kind]
and even presidents to remove
the lie that God is not needed to
fix all of our mess.
I will vote for freedom to choose
life and not live at death’s door.
I will not be voting cause he’s black
and certainly note because he is
to old.
I will be voting for Jesus to honestly
be in our and lives reign supreme.
I will be voting for the Word that
says he is the King of Kings.
I will be voting to change the desperation,
hopelessness, poverty, and the strife.
When I in fact vote it will to be to
have abundant life.
I will be voting to see Jesus as the
one and only Lord and savior.
I will be voting but my vote is focused
only on the Lord.

  We are enamored by an election and most of us are only voting because one is black and some are only voting to keep up the good ole boy network.  When you choose to debate about the merits of any candidate allow me to put one up there whom we have obviously forgot.  His name is Jesus.  He is about equality, fairness for all mankind, love, respect of our neighbors, and he is surely about a better health care plan than they can provide.  Send this one to all of your friends not to get a miracle or a sign but so that Jesus is given unto all men.  Maybe for once if we send one of these to our canidates without asking or anything than maybe God will do something different.  The bible says If he be lifted up on the earth He will draw ALL men unto him.  Love.

Stretch Marks

This is one of my favorite poems of all times.  I like it because of the inspiration of all that ladies go through to have kids.  I am overjoyed by the response to the poems as well.  They keep me on my toes.  I would love to hear your views on this and other poems.  Because you help me grow in my poetry ministry.  I love you guys and know that someone is praying for you.      stretch marks
 
 
to look upon your body and see where God gave me His greatest gift.
 i look and see how you endured pain to make love be born with strength.
 to know you endured the pain to bring me a smile.
 i am forever indebebted to you and you are truly my all.
 i am inspired by the marks of birth that your frame.
 stretch marks were made that my legacy would carry on in life and in name.
 would my greatest triumph be my laughter or the gift from you.
 i see you in a new light no seriously i do.
 so come over here and let me kiss what is the symbol of your nine months of 
hard work.
 i love you to life and the stretch marks are the truth that you are worth 
more than you think you are worth.
 
to all the ladies who have children, desire children, and have stretch marks 
because of children i bless you by saying a simple thank you for carrying

Luke 18: 35-43

  You know I had to very good friends of mine and we ended up having bible study about this very subject.  I tell you it was awesome.  I was really explaining to them as they explained back to me that I am not trying to be forlorn but also I am not trying to be holier than thou.  In reading this scripture you get the feeling that Jesus is talking directly to today’s christian.  When the blind man heard the commotion going on around him it was amazing that he knew it was something different.  He could not see who it was.  Let me show you what I mean.  Their are people who are really blind and lost on the way side looking for something or someone to save them.  So the people who are lost in your life represent the blind man.  We are supposed to be like Jesus, but here is the kicker that the folks around Jesus were the church folks, disciples.  So the folks around him we are going to call them the Flesh.  Our flesh gets in the way of the blind men/women getting to Jesus.  See you must realize and understand that it is not you doing great work it is the God in you doing the great work.  See I understand now what the bible means with this here scripture as far as my revelation.  We have become unavailable to the people because we are trying to get to Jesus .  The Jesus in us should resonate in everything we do.  We are more worried about us then we are about God’s children.  Look at this.  How many times has church folks got in the way of you doing what God wants you to do?  Think about it.  God gave a whole lot of people on this email list a revelation of something to do but how many of you are really doing it?  How many of us has God told to sing, preach, say hi to the neighbor you don’t like, pay someone else’s bill, love someone without any harmful words, not to gossip about an issue?  We turn away from that though seeking to be around Jesus.  The blind man also represents the growing epidemic of violence, rape, murder, lying, gossip, child molestation, divorce, households divided, children carrying guns, amongst other things.  In this scripture text it was the crowd around Jesus that told the blind man to shut up cause Jesus was there.  How many of you live a prisoner in your own home.  How many of the saints live scared and in fear that someone will find out their secret.  How many saints of God really are trying to heal the blind man.  In the scripture we see that the blind mans faith saved him so why is altar call so difficult for the church?  We put more emphasis on the sermons than the souls.  Everyone always says to me I need a word from the Lord but be truthful some of us wouldn’t honestly know a word from the Lord because Next Top Model, A Chance At Real Love, I Love New York, Lift Every Voice And Sing, The Potter’s Touch, Heroes, House, Tru To The Game {Book}, Or The Steelers, The Sims, solitaire, the internet say more to us and so now all of these things replace God’s voice.  I know I am on to something because I am in one of the ones who do it to.  I mess up in these things.  I was talking to my friend who asked me to interview somebody because of how she treated her I refused.  Jesus said to me that wasn’t me but your flesh talking.  I am honest with you about this here.  One blind man today can make all of us see better.  We were learning a song last night in rehearsal last night and I truly hate the song as it stands.  The song to me is horrible.  Jesus said to me these words on this morning my word doesn’t always fit your emotions.  My flesh was getting ready to raise but God brought me back to reality.  The old folks used to say this ‘So heavenly minded no earthly good at all.’  We are so stuck on Jesus that we are missing Jesus.  We are so stuck on looking good because we are standing next to Jesus we forget that Jesus could be standing in the blind man’s shoes.  We are unaware of what we are doing.  Last thing what is up with this selfish nature of the saints?  We don’t care about no one but ourselves.  God will not bless you fully only thinking of yourselves.  Watch Jesus he takes care of the ants, birds, and dogs etc.  Why wouldn’t God take care of you?  We are living beyond God and have made ourselves God.  I have a good job, I am in a stable career, I am in a relationship, I have my health.  Then hows come when we are seeming to be losing these things we panic?  God has a solution but most of us went to ourselves for the answer.  We never went to God.  Well I pray.  So does the devil.  He preys everyday.  Prayer needs to be intimate.  You can’t be intimate with Jesus and you have no relationship.  Wow that makes so much sense to me now that it is on paper.  Well anyway I am no
t the answer all but find out for yourself when you study this that I got from God.  For I could be wrong so if I am help me to do better in my understanding of the scripture.  Study it for yourself don’t take my word for it.  I left the scripture up top for you to read and study yourself. God I Repent

 Today is a letter of love from me to You. For I say I am saved and do not live it totally has gotten me just slightly through. God I am saying I should treat you better and really live your name. Jesus you have given so much to me and all I have given you is shame. Greed has consumed me for the all mighty dollar. While my ego has made folks want to scream and holla. I have professed your love only on Sunday morning. By stealing from work with pens, and paper and such I have taken away from your glory. I get the bootleg and think folks should pay me for mines. I say don’t tell my buisness but everbody else’s business is good to tell on the grapevine. I hate when people judge me but in your eyes I live like a hypocrite you see. I say in Jesus name and then say words immediately afterward like the f word or call my girls a b. I gossip all the times and nothing but lies leave my tongue. Then I want you to look at me and say well done. I drink to get drunk so I can have sex without conscience. Then I sit in the pulpit and tell my members buisness while they feel like they are the pastor and the profit. I don’t trust you yet I tell everyone I do. Are any of these any one of you?

God gave me such the wake up call this morning that at 4:30 I was up praying for myself and everyone else I know. I was so amazed that God had given me a word. And although in the attachment there is a funny take on Never Could’ve Made It we need to repent. We are so vain and wrong that we wonder why God won’t change some things in our life. It doesn’t matter if you are the pastor, head usher, garbage man, bum on the street the bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. I am overweight and my body is God’s temple wow we need to get it together. I play around with that song but I am really having a problem losing some weight. It will get better because someone is praying for me. I want to let go of the things I am wrong for. So I am asking God to forgive me for all of the sins I have done. I repent to you oh Lord. In Jesus name amen. Stop playing with God for He is exposing those who are cutting up, will you be exposed next. I was exposed for some of my wrongs and I am really paying for them dearly. I don’t do these emails for your entertainment but for Jesus’s glory. Ladies and gentlemen repent because none of us are promised tommorow. Amen.

Good Morning Beautiful Let me say good morning beautiful. No words can express how I feel about you beautiful. If I knew then what I know now I would have never treated women the way that I have. You are powerful yet classy, and you are the reason for most why the world goes around. Because of you we are here and without you it would be impossible. Just to be you for a day would take 10,000 years and I would still need a head start. You are virtue and born from God’s heart. I thank the Lord for you daily, but I miss the mark on appreciating you fully. I don’t care of you because I have to but because I desire to care of you which is my reasonable duty. Listen to as I speak to you from the man’s mind. I know I don’t say it much but I will love you beyond the end of all time. Good morning beautiful can I start off your day. Good morning beautiful just seeing your beauty reminds me to give God praise. I thank you God for leaving me with a beautiful one such as you. To all of the beautiful women I just want to say we men couldn’t make it on this planet without you. You are truly the apple of God’s eye. You are amazing and I am praying and thanking God for you completely. Be a blessing and tell a woman you know good morning beautiful. Watch the chain reaction of love that will be felt. My Life Is Thankful

Don’t Forget We Are Thankging Jesus 1,000 Times A day. It only takes 20 minutes and watch what he will do. My Life Is Thankful 1 Corinthians 15:56-58 56: The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57: But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ 58: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. In life you sometimes have to rededicate yourself to Jesus Christ. Meaning we can get caught doing the laws and sins and bringing ourselves to death. Death cannot have any victory without sin. The bible says it in Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death. Meaning you have to work to sin. You have to work to be corrupt. You have to be bound to the law for sin to abound in you. Many of us are bound to the law thus we are bound to work for sin and ultimately death. Living a thankful life unto Jesus for his work on the cross and for simply who he is is something we make harder. Its like this have you ever been in a store and was getting ready to get a hook up and you had someone with you who when you were getting ready to get hooked up they decided they wanted to bring to much attention to you? Meaning they don’t know when to shut up. That is sin. Jesus has given you the hook up on life and your sin is next to you cutting up. See here is the thing about the hook up folks will see whatever the hook up is and want to know how to get it but you can’t take everybody directly to your hook up. See sin can’t go up to Jesus and be cool because corruption and incorruption can’t dwell together. See this is why your life has to be as sin free as possible. Hold up preacher I am not perfect. I know this and I know the bible says in Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. So now that I have given you some background let us get to why our lives should show it’s thanks. The bible clearly states here in Corinthians 15:58 be ye steadfast, okay do not compromise. We have compromised our Jesus for a lot of things like our jobs, friends, families, kids, church etc. Wow hold up preacher how can you compromise Jesus for the church. Well when the edifice is bigger than the church Jesus is building in you. We won’t have a real relationship with Jesus so this is why the church you see on the corners of every city in America are suffering. Well pastor is supposed to be taken care of me and the church is supposed to look after me to. The bible says Study to show thyself approved unto God. If most of us studied like we should we wouldn’t be in the predicaments we are in now. I say this to you because I have erred before and even recently even. So know that it is not just you. Look here we are always praying for more money but the bible says the harvest is RIPE but the LABORS are FEW. Thus meaning your team around you has to get better. Look at me I am not the one to do money well so it would be better for me to get an accountant. I am a motivator and an encourager so when you need encouragement and motivation I got you covered. See when you know these things you will put the right people in position. Also living a life of thankfulness is paramount because when you study to show thyself approved the harvest will be revealed through the work your life has become. By studying and working on God’s business you are thus showing your thankfulness to Jesus. We are so caught up in having the best cd or who is the greatest praise dancer or comedian but when we are unmovable meaning we will have moments where we are caught up and have sinned but we should not be moved by the sinned. So this goes with your foundation. If you have no foundation or one made on sand you can be moved. Look at what Jesus said to Peter ‘On this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell SHALL not prevail against it. Now Peter was around Jesus and most of us consider him to be thuggish in his ways. For he would cuss you out quick. See Peter was always getting in trouble for his mouth. So what is coming out of your mouth? If it is death than expect death to be in your life. If it is life than everytime someone hears you speak they should hear the thank you Lord that Jesus has provided you with. You must always be abounding meaning the work of the Lord doesn’t stop because you got into trouble. Or you or your pastorhas set you down. See even if you have been sat down or are in trouble your life still should have JESUS on it. I have been in trouble before and still had to do ministry. Just because you messed up doesn’t mean you can’t be a living testimony of Jesus’s greatness. You have to be thankful unto him and bless his name. Come on you all Psalms 34:1 says it best I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Meaning your thank you to Jesus should always be on your lips to Christ and in your life living for Christ. Who will bless the Lord with me. You will have gain not just physically but spiritually. What good is it to have physical things if we have no spirit to keep it in its proper perspective. God has to reward you just like he has to dicipline you. So I am asking you is your life based in Thanks or Death?
